Hawt drinks by other peeps

I had a martini two martinis last night, and I liked it. This must be a sign that I’m in the early stages of asset depreciation. Anyways. Peep the recipe here, then mosey on over to Geisha (61st b/w Park and Mad) to try one yourself. Zagat would approve!

Wiki Fun Fact: DdC was revamped and relaunched in ’07, and won Best of Show at the ’08 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It contains syrup made from crystallized baby ginger, Grand Champagne VSOP cognac, orange blossom honey and vanilla.

Post-Keg Op

I miss kegs. I miss keg stands. I miss waiting in line for kegs. I miss dropping my cellphone into keg ice.

And so, I’ve tried to remedy this situation (with my hard earned college degree) by learning some new, grown-up people drinks. Here is “my” recipe for the perfect Sidecar.

– 1 shot cointreau

– 1 shot cognac (pref. Remy Martin VSOP but I understand if its Hennessey’s)

– Juice from half a lemon

Fill a shaker with ice and pour in all ingredients. Shake for 15 seconds. Pour into a martini glass optionally rimmed with sugar. It’s not a keg, but it’s tasty.
